Papads are known throughout the world as a thin, crispy lentil wafer. They are commonly the first thing brought to you when you dine at an Indian restaurant.
This variety is the most common, a medium black pepper infused lentil crisp.
Simply fry them in oil, bake them in the oven, or roast them on an open flame. Depending on the power of your microwave, they can also be zapped.
Enjoy with coriander or mint chutneys as a quick snack or flavorful appetizer.
