Sanjeev Kapoor's Khazana Daily Dal Masala
This blend of spices is used to spice up your day-to-day dal dish. Simply add this spice mix to toor dal and a 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, and your dish is ready! A quick and nutritious dish is ready in minutes.
Directions to use: 1.Pressure cook half cup of soaked tuvar dal with half a teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt to taste in one and half cups of water till done.mash the dal with a whisk. 2.Heat two and a half tbsps, of pure ghee or oil in a frying pan and add two and half tbsps of Khazana Daily Dal Masala. saute lightly for half a minute. 3.Pour a ladle of cooked dal into this tempering and then pour the entire contents back into the dal. Add half cup water, mix thoroughly add salt if required and serve hot.
