Sakthi Briyani Masala
Ingredients : Chilli, Coriander, Cloves, Cinnamon, Aniseed, Cardamom, Ginger, Garlic, Onion, Nutmeg, Staranise, Salt.
RECIPE : Fry 200g (7 oz) onion in 200g (7 oz) cooking oil. Add 3 tomatoes, 200g ( 7 oz) plain yogurt, 1 spoon lemon juice, 50g Sakthi Briyani Masala, 1 kg (2.2 lbs) mutton or chicken or ½ kg (1.1 lbs) vegetables and fry for 10 minutes. Add necessary water, 1kg (2.2 lbs.) of rice, salt to taste, coriander/mint leaves and cook until rice is soft (approx 20 minutes). Tasty briyani is ready to serve.
