This tandoori masala is mostly used in a from of barbeque. The 'tandoor" in tandoori, refers to a cylindrical clay oven in which meat and breads are cooked. This spicy masala is a collaboration of dry-roasted ginger, garlic, cumin, cinnamon, black pepper, chilli, clove, turmeric and red food color.
Usually meat, poultry and seafood is marinated in a mixture of tandoori masala and yogurt and then baked. Tandoori masala is also very dynamic and can be used to spice up any dish. Try mixing with potatoes or pasta dishes.
