This authentic South Indian powder is used to make a spicy soup dish called Rasam. It is made by mixing the spice mix with toor dal, turmeric powder and tamarind powder/paste. Iyengar Rasam Powder is comprised of coriander, red chili, cumin, fenugreek, pepper, mustard seeds, peanut oil, asafoetida and dry curry leaves.
