Directions:
Mix Water: Mix the contents of the pack with 600ml (20fl.oz) water and keep aside for 10 min.
Season and Blend well: Heat 60ml oil for approx. 2 min. Add 2-3 whole red chillies and 1 tsp. sesame seeds. Add this to the above batter and blend well.
Cook in Handvo Cooker or thick bottom saucepan: Cook in a thick bottom greased Handvo cooker on medium to low flame for 40-45 min. Flip and cook the other side for 15 min.
Cut ‘n’ Serve.
Tip: The cooking vessel should be of thick bottom. If not, place a tava/griddle on the flame and Handvo cooker on the tava. Handvo can also be cooked in a thick bottom non-stick shallow saucepan. In such case, cover and cook for 12 min. on medium flame. Flip and cook the other side for 10 min.
Ingredients:
Rice Flour, Lentil Flour, Semolina, Sugar, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Salt, Citric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sesame, Chilli Powder, Mustard, Asafoetida and Turmeric.
