This truly authentic, Madrasi explosion of flavor is known as the "The Original" masala for this spicy soup dish.
Ingredients : Coriander, Chilli, Black Gram Dhal, Fenugreek, Salt, Curry leaves, Cumin, Pepper, Mustard, Asafoetida, Turmeric, Ginger, Refined Peanut Oil.
RECIPE : Boil 200g toor dal. Fry mustard seeds, chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaf in oil till golden brown. Take 100 gms of vegetables of your choice, 2 tomatoes, tamarind juice, 1 tablespoon Sakthi Sambar Powder, salt to taste and cook with boiled dal for 15 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Tasty sambar is now ready to serve.
