KwikMeal All Purpose Bhuna Masala has all the ingredients like onion, tomato, garlic, ginger and haldi (turmeric) lightly fried in oil. Add chili powder and salt to your taste. You may or may not want to add oil to the masala. It’s all up to you. Some say that adding ghee to the pan before adding the masala, greatly enhances the taste of your dish in some recipes.

KwikMeal All Purpose Bhuna Masala is manufactured under FDA guidelines. The product is made in the USA with modern equipment and with premium ingredients so, what you get is not only taste but also safety.

Ingredients: onion, tomato puree, canola oil, garlic, ginger, citric acid, spices, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate (to preserve flavor).

General instructions are to heat pan in medium flame. Add one or two tablespoon of oil /desi ghee/clarified butter to the pan and let it heat.

Add 2 or 3 table spoon of KwikMeal All Purpose Bhuna Masala to the pan, also add chili powder or black pepper powder and stir regularly for 2-5 minutes. Add vegetables or protein or both. Add salt to taste and stir thoroughly for 2 – 4 minutes to get the masala on the protein or vegetable.

Add one cup water, mix properly, cover pan and reduce flame to medium- low and stir occasionally and cook till protein or vegetables are tender. Turn flame off and immediately garnish with one tablespoon of freshly chopped cilantro and cover for 2 minutes. In some recipes, you can also garnish with homemade garam masal ( equal parts of green cardamom, cinnamon and clove coarsely ground).

To enhance garlic or ginger flavor, add very finely chopped / crushed garlic or ginger to the KwikMeal All Purpose Bhuna Masala at the initial stage and fry it with the Bhuna Masala.
