From popular South Indian brand Aachi comes an instant Rava Idly Mix from the heart of Chennai. This mix is an authentic way to make the Rava Idly, a wheat based savory cake popular throughout the Southern region of India.
Preparation is quick and easy: Heat idly cooker or pressure cooker with water and grease the idli molds with ghee or cooking oil. Take 1 cup Rava Idly mix and add 1 1/2 cups of plain yogurt and mix well. Pour this mix into idli moulds and steam for 7-8 minutes. Serve the rava idlies hot with tomato and coconut chutney!
