Pav Bread is similar to the American dinner roll but denser and soft on the outside. They were introduced to India by the Portuguese and most commonly eaten with the Indian curry "Pav Bhaji."
These little buns are cut in half and toasted and buttered and used to scoop up the spicy Pav Bhaji.
