Uhm, am I missing something? I LOVE, love, love all indian snacks, usually, so it is not unfamiliarity, but these? I will say that the quality was perfect, the seasoning was good, it is the aftertaste. Now, I am not from Guj, so I am quite unfamiliar with Ashoka Makhana, and it is the aftertaste. So, if someone reading this thinks that perhaps the quality or seasoning was not good, it is not that. It is the actual puffed seed, the first taste good, then it finishes with a very odd aftertaste, and I believe that is the nut itself.

Love these snacks - they taste a lot like Indian flavored popcorn. Couldn't stop eating them and they aren't really that bad for you so I'm not feeling too guilty :)
