Hum Aapke Hain Kaun

This is the story of Prem (Salman Khan) & Nisha (Madhuri Dixit). Prem is learning the ropes of business under his elder uncle Rajesh (Mohnish Behl) and uncle Kailashnath (Alok Nath), a successful industrialist. In another town, Nisha is the darling of her elder sister Pooja (Renuka Shahane) and parents Professor Chaudhury (Anupam Kher) and Kamladevi (Reema). Fate brings the two families together and this results in the marriage of Rajesh and Pooja. This is also when Prem meets Nisha and falls in love with this carefree girl. In soft whispers Prem and Nisha commit their love for each other, but fate strikes a cruel blow in the sudden demise of Pooja. The future of this newborn child worries Rajesh. Professor Chaudhury suggests that Nisha should marry Rajesh and become the mother of Pooja's child. Love is put to the test. Prem and Nisha decide to sacrifice their love for the sake of the family. Will Rajesh go through with the wedding when he finds out about Prem and Nisha?
