As and when Dharmendra, playing the role of a Professor of Botany impersonates a "chowkidar" and then a chauffeur, he is bound to some hillarious chaos and a few sensational confusions. The chowkidar, of course, was not able to hoodwink Sharmila for long, falls in love in adoration of her smartness and marries her. But Dharmendra, the professor, was confronted with the image of Sharmila's genius "Jijaji" (Om Prakash). Dharmendra feels an urge to challenge the unseen foe and win for himself a respectable status in her mind.
