Chachi 420
Loosely based on Mrs. Doubtfire, Kamal Haasan plays a commercial director who meets and falls in love with Tabu. Amrish Puri (Tabu's father) is against the alliance so they elope. They get married, have a daughter, and divorce follows and custody of the child goes to Tabu and her father. In order to continue working, Tabu is forced to employ a maid. Kamal turns into Chachi 420 (a woman) for the job. Since becoming single Kamal has to keep Ayesha Jhulka at bay who is fast falling in love with him. As Chachi 420, Kamal has to fight the amorous advances from Amrish Puri and Paresh Rawal, at the same time keeping a doubting Om Puri of his/her back. Chachi 420 promises to be a light-hearted movie the whole family can enjoy.
